This Drill Spindle is designed to be used with an overhead drive. It is mounted in an AXA tool holder and has an ER16 collet chuck. It comes with twelve (12) Imperial collets (metric collets are available from many sources):

This is really solidly built. Mine works really well and is very quiet.

The following items are not included. You will need to order them separately.

• Milling bits
• Drive belt
• Overhead drive

Recommendations:

• A cable welding jig is very useful to have. (Click here for instructions on how to make one.)


• When using this to cut wood, 2-flute milling bits are recommended. These are best for evacuating wood chips. (4-flute milling bits are usually recommended for metal.)


• If adding an eccentric cutting frame, be sure the shank which is ³/₈” or smaller.
